Gerwetsch Couloir
The couloir is only about 150m long but once you exit you find a nice and mellow run filled with pillows and cool little drops.
It is probably also one of the most photographed lines in Zermatt but I think the best angle is yet to be found.
In terms of riding Samuel Anthamatten has set the bar pretty high when he put up this amazing top to bottom run back in 2014.
Nice one Sam , we wish we have been there too

Bosentrift Couloirs
Bosentrift Couloirs
Some nice couloirs facing north east into Taschalp.
Here a view in late spring.
Here a view of the west side of Bösentrift in winter.
Hard work bootpacking up some light and deep powder snow.
To reach the entrance we ended up abseiling 10 meters of slaby terrain we didn’t feel comfortable down climbing. The surprise factor of entering a couloir from the other side feels quite exciting.
The couloir rides very well and there was plenty of space for some deep powder turns.
Edelweiss Couloir
Rarely in good conditions. When it works it is an amazing ride.
You are standing right above Zermatt with a 600m drop below you. It starts with an exciting narrow steep section that gradually mellows out towards the valley.
