This mission led him to earn Switzerland’s highest snowsports instructor certification, teaching in top resorts like Verbier, Saas-Fee, and Zermatt. After over a decade immersed in the Zermatt lifestyle—shaping snow parks, managing outdoor stores, and guiding—he expanded his horizon to the ocean. Starting in 2011, he mastered kitesurfing through the same lens of patience and progression, eventually organizing immersive expeditions along Brazil’s Northeast coast. Today, Vasco personally curates and guides every trip, blending 25 years of alpine expertise with deep local knowledge of Brazil’s culture and kitespots. Henrique is a biologist with a PhD in Sustainability and a certified IKO kitesurf instructor based in Preá, where he blends scientific expertise with high-level athletic performance. Specializing in downwind expeditions along Brazil’s famous “Emotions Route” (from Jericoacoara to the Lençóis Maranhenses), Henrique utilizes a unique teaching method that prioritizes safety while fostering a deep connection with the natural environment. His approach is shaped by a lifetime spent in nature; raised in the coastal town of Chaval, he developed an early intimacy with the ocean and local ecosystems that now informs his work as both a guide and a sustainability consultant. Since taking up kitesurfing in 2017, he has logged thousands of kilometers along the Brazilian coast, including annual 650km downwind missions, and even secured a podium finish in the prestigious “Loucos por Upwind” challenge. A kitesurfing enthusiast since childhood, he transformed that early passion into a professional career dedicated to welcoming and caring for visitors to the region. Fluent in both Portuguese and English, Davi began his professional driving services in 2016 at the age of 18, though his deep familiarity with the local environment and activities stretches back much further. Today, he is renowned for his meticulous attention to detail and his unique ability to make clients feel at ease and well-cared-for throughout their journey.
